Board certified in cardiovascular medicine, nuclear medicine and internal
medicine, Dr. Trujillo is a 1988 graduate of George Washington University
School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He did his undergraduate work at
Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, earning a bachelor’s
degree of science and engineering in 1984.
After medical school, Dr. Trujillo spent much of the 1990s at the University
of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver where he completed his residency
in internal medicine as well as fellowships in cardiology and nuclear medicine.
