Provider Bio
Born in Salt Lake City but a Colorado resident since the age of three,
Dr. Hansen completed all of her undergraduate and post-graduate education
in the Centennial State. She received her B.A. in molecular biology from
the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1989, then went on to the CU
Medical School. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology
at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver in 1997.
Dr. Hansen is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
A practitioner at Boulder Women’s Clinic since 2000, Dr. Hansen’s
special interests are in menopausal transitions including hormone replacement
therapy (HRT) and non-hormonal treatment options, gynecologic surgery,
advanced and routine care.
Dr. Hansen is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
and a member of both the Colorado Medical Society and Boulder County Medical Society.
In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, including mountain climbing,
backpacking, trail running and skiing.
