Dr. Frankel joined Boulder Creek Family Medicine in 2007. She has practiced
medicine in Colorado since 2000. Board certified in family medicine, Dr.
Frankel received her medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine
in New York. She went on to complete her family medicine residency and
internship at University of Colorado in Denver. A strong proponent in
preventive medicine, Dr. Frankel consistently strives to provide the latest
techniques and evidence based recommendations to her patients. She encourages
patients to be active participants in their health, emphasizing a collaborative
approach to ensure the best outcomes. She approaches each patient’s
needs with personalized care and treatment plans that incorporate complementary
therapies with traditional western medicine. Dr. Frankel is a member of
the American and Colorado Academies of Family Practice and the American
Medical Association. In her spare time, Dr. Frankel enjoys spending time
with her husband and two young daughters as they explore the wealth of
activities the Rocky Mountains have to offer. While at home, she practices
yoga and spends time on her passion of painting.
