Lisa earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Hardin Simmons University
in Texas and an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at the University
of New Mexico. Before starting the Doctorate program, Lisa spent a few
years in the United States Air Force as a Logistic Readiness Officer.
Lisa’s interest in health started at the young age of 14 as a lifeguard
at a Physical Therapy Clinic.
Lisa has worked with a diverse patient population, and loves to work with
all types of patients including athletes, geriatrics, pregnant women,
and pelvic floor patients. Lisa spent 9 years in neuro rehab with strokes,
spinal cord, and Parkinson patients and 2 years specializing with pelvic
floor patients. Lisa developed a stroke program for the Joint Commission
rehab and managed the outpatient clinic prior to having children. Outside
of the PT clinic, Lisa has taught yoga for 3 years and has her 500 hour
yoga certification.
Originally from New Mexico, Lisa is thrilled to be in Colorado for adventure
and trail running. Outside of the clinic, she spends time with her husband
and 2 daughters. An athlete most of her life, Lisa has trained for marathons,
Ironman’s and Ultras. Lisa loves to find adventure on the trail
and loves helping patients reach their goals.
