Dr. Marc Cohen has been practicing physical therapy since 2003, having practiced in both
private and hospital outpatient settings as both a lead clinician and
rehabilitation manager. He earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise
Science from the University of Delaware, and went on to earn his Master
of Science in Physical Therapy degree in 2003 and Doctorate of Physical
Therapy 2007, both from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Marc’s areas of speciality includes orthopedic-related injuries,
including but not limited to lower extremity/ankle & foot dysfunction,
post-surgical rehab and sports injuries, implementing various treatments
including manual therapy techniques, functional dry needling (FDN) and
the use of therapeutic neuroscience education (TNE), He has an integrative,
holistic treatment approach to patient care, considering all factors that
may affect an individual’s function and overall wellbeing. He stresses
patient education with the use of evidence-based treatments to provide
the most optimal outcome for his patients.
Originally from Newark, Delaware, Marc has called Colorado home for close
to 25 years. He enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, three
children and two dogs, taking advantage of all Colorado has to offer including
skiing, golf, mountain biking and hiking. He is an avid sports fan, stand-up
comedy buff, foodie and photographer.
