Dr. Blanchet was raised in Louisiana on his family's rice and cattle
farm. He attended medical school at LSU and completed his Internal Medicine
Residency at the University of Missouri. He began practice in Boulder
in 1986 and opened his own private practice in 1998.
Dr. Blanchet is a well-known and respected member of the Colorado medical
community. He served as the Director of the Boulder Valley IPA and Medical
Director of Boulder Manor. Currently, he is the Medical Director of Professional
Home Health Care, a Board Member at Tara School of Performing Arts, and
the Owner/Medical Director of Front Range Preventive Imaging. He is a
local keynote speaker and advocate of early detection and prevention of
heart disease and colon cancer.
He is passionate about providing effective management of cardiac health
in his patients and combines a wonderful, kind approach with keen intellectual
abilities. Dr. Blanchet's patients benefit from his willingness to
take the time necessary to diagnose and treat complex medical conditions.
Donna and Bill have been married since 1981 and have three children. He
is an enthusiastic gardener. His favorite pastime is fly fishing.
