Provider Bio
Dr. Salahi was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and first ventured out
of the Golden State for college when he studied at Duke University. After
receiving his undergraduate degrees in biomedical engineering and chemistry,
he matriculated at Vanderbilt University for his medical degree. He became
interested in medical imaging, and especially interventional radiology,
during medical school. After receiving his MD, he attended University
of Washington for internship, University of Illinois for radiology residency,
where he was chief resident, and finally, Stanford University for his
vascular and interventional radiology fellowship. Dr. Salahi is now a
board-certified interventional radiologist working since 2018 at Boulder
Community Health and Boulder Radiologists. While he likes to perform procedures
in all areas of IR, he has special focuses in interventional oncology,
venous disease and treatments, prostate artery embolization for BPH, and
portal hypertension. He welcomes all new patients to his clinic at Foothills
Hospital. In his free time, Dr. Salahi can be found looking after his
cat and parrot, doing yard work at home, or hanging out with friends and
watching movies, if he isn’t out traveling to some obscure area
of the world.
